Incredible Support and a part of the family
Sophie was our incredible support for 1.5 years, which would have certainly been longer had we not needed to move countries for my husband’s work. Sophie stepped into our lives when our daughter was just 3 months old and brought along a such a wealth of knowledge and experience that it made the transition into a family of 3 a smooth and very happy time.
She is an incredibly hard worker, takes initiative before ever having to ask, and is not afraid of any of the messiness or ups and downs that come with raising a baby to a toddler. She was our guiding light through the many new experiences such as weaning, finicky naptimes, sickness, travel, breastfeeding, you name it.
The start of my motherhood journey and our daughter’s life would have been sorely lacking without Sophie in our lives. She is incredibly trustworthy, responsible, reliable, and simply wonderful to have around. Anyone would be extremely lucky to have her by their side and a part of the family.

We Love Sophie!
I found Sophie when looking for a doula for my eldest son Kai. As a first time mum, her practical advice and non-judgemental support was exactly what I needed. Kai was a poor sleeper and I thought I was doing something wrong. Sophie assured me I wasn’t, and validated my feelings. When I fell pregnant again, I got in touch with Sophie super early to make sure she’d be available to help me through my second newborn phase. It was like having a super useful sister pop over to help out. She watched my baby while I napped, picked-up my eldest from nursery and started dinner. Both Kai and I really looked forward to her visits!I cannot recommend Sophie highly enough. Her experience with babies makes her a fount of knowledge. She gives sound advice and has fantastic baby hacks! She’s also really lovely company.

Our Doula Angel
Sophie was an absolute dream. She came into our home at a time of change and chaos and transformed it entirely. She was intuitive to our needs as a family, read each situation appropriately at a time when what I needed was changing daily, often knew what we needed before we did and was always there to help before we’d even asked. She approached such an enormous variety of tasks - caring for our baby and on occasions toddler, cooking, washing, baby immunisation upsets, a toddler with lice, decluttering the house after a move and even helping me decorate and wrap presents for Christmas - all with complete ease and professionalism. But most of all she was a much needed listening ear and friend to support me through the baby days while my husband was working long hours. Our adjustment to having a second child was made with far more ease, rest and laughter than when with our first and we have Sophie to thank for that. I could not recommend her more highly.

Sophie is wonderful. From the very first session, she was comfortable and confident with our son and a reassuring presence in our home.
As a first-time mum, her help and advice was invaluable, and her ability to get the baby to sleep was a lifesaver! I always looked forward to Sophie’s visits, will definitely call on her in the future, and would highly recommend her to any parent.

Sophie is a fantastic postnatal doula - highly professional, reliable and unbelievably warm with newborns.

Sophie was always prompt, professional and friendly; we were able to rely on her; friendly and offered advice, helping us build confidence when even the basic stuff was new to us like bathing, feeding etc. It was great to have an experienced hand to help and support for the first few months; reading books helped, but was good to have some practical support.

Compassionate & A Joy!
Sophie is truly compassionate about being a Doula. She has a genuine interest in taking after newborns, is caring of the mother’s needs and open to do whatever needs to be done to help in this difficult stage. Sophie is punctual, smart, outgoing, friendly and a joy to be around. She has had multiple experiences with newborns which made me feel confident in her knowledge and it was evident on day 1. Best Decision We Made!
Having Sophie to help after our baby was born was the best decision we made. An experienced pair of hands to look after the baby while I slept or caught up with some jobs, or to help around the house so that I could just sit and hold the baby meant that I was able to establish feeding and enjoy my baby and the newborn phase. Sophie seemed to know instinctively how to be most helpful and was such a pleasure to have around.

Amazing Doula And Nanny
We interviewed quite a few doulas and chose Sophie as we liked the fact that she had nannying experience as well as working as a doula. As such, unlike some other doulas, she was able to take our toddler out as well as looking after our baby. Our son loved Sophie and took to her immediately. We were worried about having a stranger around our house during those first difficult weeks when tensions can run high but Sophie was an absolute pleasure to have around, She is very easy going and relaxed but that's not to be confused with lazy. She was really proactive and always looked for more ways to help us. I never felt that she judged us and our parenting decisions and was very happy to look after our children in the way we wanted her to. Despite not having had her own children, I felt that she had a wealth of knowledge from all of her previous nannying jobs and has seen enough new mothers struggle to understand what they are going through.
I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Wonderful Experience From Day 1!
Sophie is just a natural. She is easy-going, communicative, inspires confidence, understands what I need, and very trustworthy. She has a vast level of experience she draws from. She is also very encouraging. She also was very flexible with her timing, I found that I was often late the first month due to not anticipating how long certain things would take with the baby.
